The Kanopy Kids section is dedicated to thoughtful entertainment includes educational and engaging videos for children of all ages. Parents can block their children from accessing the adult content section. 
The Louisiana Digital Library (LDL) is an online library of over 400,000 digital items from Louisiana archives, libraries, museums, etc., making unique historical treasures accessible to the general public in Louisiana and across the globe. The items in the LDL are as diverse and interesting as the people and places in Louisiana, with photographs, maps, manuscript materials, books, oral histories, and more documenting the state’s history and culture. Ouachita Parish Public Library is happy to be a part of the LDL.

Homework Louisiana is a free, online tutoring resource. From 2 p.m. - midnight every day, real, live tutors are available for more than 60 subjects. Tutors can also give feedback on essays, and help you with job resumes. Plus, you can prep for the ACT and SAT via Homework Louisiana.

Miss Humblebee's Academy:  
Is a fun, interactive, online learning solution for children ages 3 to 6 yrs. old. It prepares children for kindergarten proficiency, includes hundreds of guided lessons with sound cues across many disciplines. It assesses skill levels and provides parents with weekly notification of progress. You can use it at home or the library, on mobile devices like iPads and tablets, and has printable worksheets.  Log on and create your account. All you need is a library card!
